I've gotten a number of requests for a 'Jobs' section in the forum. I do get a lot of requests related to services via email. From people looking for someone to help them out to get a project done, to people who have extra cycles now that they are so much more productive with psd2css Online. Even custom programming or support for WordPress, Drupal or Joomla.
Hey Everyone -
We all want a fast website, right? One of the best ways to make your website faster is to make sure the size (in bytes) of all your images is as small as possible. psd2css Online creates entire websites directly from your Photoshop PSD design and by default creates PNG images (due to the ability to put transparency in your layers in photoshop). PNG images can be big however.
Thanks to dtmp2 and SeanJohn0716 for the fantastic suggestions on improving the WordPress feature. I haven't really used WordPress too much and was unaware of both the Widget functionality and the ability to install WordPress themes right from the Admin section.
Today I made some upgrades and now both of those features for WordPress are supported directly by psd2css Online.
Keep Some Elements in your _frame In Place
Suppose you want to use the new _frame Layer Naming Convention in your design. You have a main content area and a side bar menu area next to it. But you want the _frame graphic to encompass both the main content AND your menu. If you don't do something special, the _frame will expand with your main content and that menu will move down with the bottom of your _frame! Probably not what you're looking for.
A lot of folks are using the _link and _linkover to design cool custom links for their WordPress, Joomla or Drupal themes. That's awesome, but there are a couple things you need to know about to make them work for you.
Each of those Content Management Systems generate their own kind of URLs for your various pages on your site. Some of them even offer different kinds of URLs in the same CMS (Drupal for example will allow real looking paths, or HTTP GET base URLs for all the content).
Expanding Content with Your Website
Wow. One minute your enjoying a quiet Sunday evening with the kids, the next minute your whole website is a tangled mess of wreckage on the floor of the internet.
