Today is the pre-release of version 0.1 lite beta of the Drupal Theme feature in psd2css Online. As you might be able to guess, I expect it to change as I get feedback from the Drupal community. In fact I'm not even going to write up formal documentation until the design has flushed out due to feedback.
Having said that though - right now you can build a Drupal Theme in Photoshop, name some layers for the content that Drupal will provide, convert the PSD file to a fully functional Drupal (version 6.x) Theme, copy it into your existing Drupal install and it works.
Drupal is an amazing CMS (Content Management System) with tons of features right out of the box and thousands more available as modules you download and install to your Drupal website. Drupal is available for free here:
http://drupal.org
You can define layers by naming them exactly (the whole name, not just the portions that start with underscore) as 'left_drupal' for the left column content, 'content_drupal' for the main content section, 'right_drupal' for the right column content, 'primarylinks_drupal' for the primary links menu items and 'secondarylinks_drupal' for the secondary links menu items.
If you have feedback about what it should do, what it shouldn't do, or anything else, please drop me an email. Thanks.
Here is the first working example:

Which came from this PSD file:

Here is a video showing some use of the new feature:

Hi shaun! Thanks for these. Well I have a simple problem
Hello,
I would like to know how to change the color of the font, because when I make my theme then upload and use it in my drupal the color is always pink. How can I customize this? Thanks Shaun. It's a great help for us! :)

Hey Shaun, thanks for replying on such a short notice :)
I suppose that I've done everything as it was shown in your video, I mean I've pasted theme into drupal theme directory.
thanks

Hi kukaracha - How are you
Hi kukaracha -

Yep, I have almost the same problem. I made a custom theme and when I upload it to drupal it just goes nuts. The only thing that is shown normally is content_drupal. I,m using 6.13 version of drupal, may problem be caused by difference in versions?
Hello everyone I've tried to
Hello everyone I've tried to modify your drupal theme and upload it to a drupal (6.12) installation. I've set it as a default theme and enable and it doesn't work I can only see the background (_bodybg), content_drupal , left_drupal other sections that I've added doesn't appear like the bg_center_jpg , or primarylinks_drupal. Then I've tried to upload your drupal online test theme unmodified and I have the same problem. Any ideas why?

I've found that you have to go into your psd2css.css file and paste in the url for each layer other than the _drupal layers ie. background-image: url(Layer-3.png); just rename each layer based on what is in the value above and it works like a charm.
THE FIX FOR UNRECOGNIZED THEMES
as i have just read many of you are having the same problem i was having the other day , i contacted shaun and this is what he told me to do , and it worked for me
i am using version 6.14 , Shaun said they changed a few things
so here goes
take the csszip that the system creates for you and upload the zip itsself to your root drupal folder , " not the themes folder, the root folder" after the zip has been uploaded to your drupal "root" folder then extract the contents
Drupal with automaticly upload the theme files to the correct folders
so then when you visit your admin panel you can select your theme you just uploaded and extracted and the theme will work
i hope this helped you guys
thanks for the awesome work Shaun your a star
